When He left for Heaven

I knew this sweet, gentle man

He meant so much to me.

When he left for Heaven I knew they had so much to gain

But I was left here with so much pain.

I know one day when me meet again

The days will be filled with celebration.

We will walk the streets of gold,

Together as it has been told.

Our days will be filled with joy and happiness,

No more hurting and sadness.

But right now, all I am left with is the memory of your face

And my heart is filled with this empty space.

In the maze of life

Death is always around the corner
