But yet,

to me.

When I shut my eyes

I dream about you

How we could be together forever.

To stand in your presence

To see that grin of yours

Knowing what you are thinking

Before you ever say it.

The Maze of Life

In the maze of life

Death is always around the corner

One by one our friends and family

are picked off and die.

Every now and then

We reach a dead end

And turn around to find

A new path.

There is always a another way

For life to take you.

Don't let doubts make you

When life seems dark and rough

Don't forget there is always someone

My friends tell me just to walk away

But it is so hard and painful.

They are so right

But they just don't understand

How much I want this.

Forbidden Fruit

Have you ever met someone

you just knew you had this

connection to but there

was no way you could

be with that person?

When you see them you

just automatically smile

you just can’t control it.

They love you just the

way you are,

they don’t want to change you.

They just make you feel

so special.

Knocking on the door

 

When we feel that all the doors

are shut or slamming

in our face,

It is then another door will open.

The problem is we don’t answer

the door when we hear someone

knocking .

How many blessings have we missed

out on because we fail to hear

the calling .

All we need to do is open

the door and let God in.

So, don’t be afraid to open

the dark door because

the other side is the

brightest light you will

ever see.

While Standing in front of the Cross

 

While standing in front of the Cross

Seeing the wood stained with the blood

Knowing I put him there to be tortured

Knowing I put the nails into those hands

Knowing I put those tears into his eyes

Knowing he gave his life for me

A  SINNER.

Knowing I killed him

Why would he do this for me?

He didn’t even know me.

I just couldn’t understand why

He would go through this for me.

I sat there in front of that cross

Pleading, begging for an answer.

Looking up through my tears,

Yelling, Why Jesus?

How could you love someone like me?

I’m finding myself in the midst of Jesus

Finding this priceless Gift of his unconditional love he has for me

To be just so overwhelming.

Sometimes I lay there in this dark

hopeless world full of despair ,

wondering how I got here

feeling like there is no way out .

Tired of these chains that hold me there

sometimes feeling like I am running out of air ,

wishing I could just see a glimpse of light, but I doubt

I shall ever see it unless I change my life.

I see all these happy people

and I wonder how did they get this way.

They all give me the same answer

the light comes from the son.

But how do I find this one?

They speak of him like he is everywhere

but yet I have not seen him.

If I could just find someone to guide me,

to show me the way,

I’m sure I could find him then.

Will you be the one to show me this?

Or will you just walk away,

and leave me stay
